Our Wish List

As a nonprofit, there are many things that make our job easier by having them around. Listed below are some of those items! Thank you for your gift!

We graciously accept donations to help families with children from prenatal to five years old. We are always looking for new ways to meet our financial needs and to help us grow. Below are some of items we can always use.

Diapers & Wipes

Any size. The majority of our foot traffic into the center for resources are requests for diapers and wipes. We always refer visitors to Love Life, Green Bay’s parenting bank. Yet, they are only open on Thursdays for limited hours. It is our wish to keep all children dry and clean.

Appreciation gifts for our parents

We often celebrate the accomplishments of the children in our programs, and it would be nice to be able to recognize the parents who are working just as hard. It is our wish to be able to give the parents’ new jobs, GED program graduations, or other life successes the recognition they deserve. Suggested items: Bath and Body Works, key chains,  coffee gift cards, etc.

Hygiene Items

We collect any personal care items a family may need. Suggested items: tampons and pads, shampoo and conditioner, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

Non-Perishable Snacks

We offer snacks at a majority of our programs such as playgroup and summer programs. It’s always helpful to have kid-fond non-perishable snacks on hand.

Books

We are always looking at ways to get books into the hands of children. Board books are great for infants and toddlers. Picture books and chapter books are always desired for school-age children. We are also responsible for stocking the little free libraries on the school campus. Books in English and Spanish are always welcome!

Toys & Games

Play is much of what we do. Toys, puzzles, games, art supplies are always hot commodity here at HCRC. The toys would be used in our Early Childhood Learning Center, put in activity bags, and for Howe School events.

Gas Cards

Transportation is plenty costly. We try to provide gas cards for our families so they can travel for appointments, events, and errands.

School Supplies

We supply Howe school students and families with school supplies if needed. Our greatest need is children's backpacks.
